Iron Ore Pellets Fines Lumps

Iron Ore Fines and Lumps: India exports mostly low grade Iron Ore Fe 57/56%, 56/55%, 55/54%. The total export of these grades is around 40MT pre annum.

Iron Ore Fines: India also exports some quantity of Iron Ore Fines Fe61/60% grade, about 3-4 million ton in a year.

Iron Pellet: India is amongst the largest producer of Iron Pellet with annual capacity about 90 million ton. In India there is large consumption of Iron Pellet by DRI as well as BF plants. India exports over 15MT of Iron Pellets to China, every year. The standard grade is Fe 64% and Fe 63%. Mostly Indian Pellets with with Al2O3 3.5% max and very few producers offer Al2O3 below 1.5%

During 2001 till 2013, Shabro was associated with some of the leading iron ore buying companies of China and was asisting the associated buyers for sourcing 6-9 million ton iron ore from India which quantity reached 8 – 10 MT every year during2009-2013.

After imposition of Export duty for export of iron ore from India in 2013, exports were completely restricted and unviable.

We have again involved for export of iron ore pellets and fines starting year 2019. We have assisted overseas buyers to source more than one million MT of iron ore fines, lumps & pellets during 2019, 2020 & 2021.
